Stephane Tomczak opens DELIVER Europe 2026 in Amsterdam
A welcome to the DELIVER Europe 2026 community
Stephane Tomczak, Chairman & Founder of DELIVER, opened DELIVER Europe 2026 in Amsterdam by welcoming the senior leaders gathered for two days of meetings, content and collaboration.
Addressing the audience, he positioned the event as a meeting point for the people shaping the future of retail and commerce. Across the room were decision-makers from retail, ecommerce, logistics, supply chain, technology and innovation, all brought together to address the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
For Stephane, the strength of DELIVER lies in its ability to convene this community with purpose. Attendees are not simply there to exchange business cards. They are there to solve real problems, build meaningful partnerships and make decisions that can move the industry forward.
Responding to a faster-moving industry
The opening address reflected the speed and complexity of the current retail and supply chain environment. Stephane highlighted the pressure created by rising customer expectations, the rapid impact of AI, geopolitical uncertainty, tariffs, climate change and the ongoing need for more resilient supply chains.
These forces are reshaping how retailers, brands and solution providers operate. They also reinforce why industry collaboration matters. The most difficult questions facing commerce cannot be solved in isolation. They require open discussion, practical partnerships and shared commitment across the ecosystem.
Stephane noted that, in today’s environment, one of the most valuable resources is not money, but time. DELIVER Europe 2026 is designed to make that time count by bringing together the right people, conversations and opportunities in one place.
Meetings, content and connections
Over the course of the event, attendees have access to solution providers, strategic content and a wide range of discussions covering transformation, last mile, AI, sustainability and the future of customer experience.
However, Stephane also emphasised that not every important moment happens on stage. Many of the most valuable conversations take place in meetings, coffee discussions, roundtables, networking moments and informal exchanges throughout the event.
This has been a defining part of the DELIVER model since the beginning. Some of the most important business relationships in the industry have started at DELIVER, and the event continues to act as a platform for long-term commercial connection.
Sustainability and shared responsibility
Sustainability was also central to the opening message. Stephane reflected on his belief that it is possible to build a successful business while doing the right thing.
From its earliest days, DELIVER has paid close attention to its environmental responsibilities, including compensating for its carbon footprint and reinvesting profits into sustainable and social initiatives.
He encouraged attendees to use the sustainability-focused spaces and conversations at the event to discuss sustainable development and explore how the industry can take collective responsibility for progress.
Opening the show
Stephane closed by thanking the DELIVER team, sponsors, speakers, delegates and long-standing partners who have helped build the community over the years.
His message set the tone for DELIVER Europe 2026: a high-value industry gathering built around collaboration, practical problem-solving, responsible growth and the partnerships shaping the future of retail and commerce.
