BONDUELLE ON WHY BREAKING SILOS DRIVES GROWTH

Anne van de Poel, Supply Chain and IBP Director, Northern Europe | Bonduelle

Anne van de Poel, Supply Chain and IBP Director for Bonduelle in Northern Europe, believes that progress doesn’t happen in silos. Speaking at DELIVER Europe 2025, she shared why leadership must be intentional about integration — and how events like DELIVER help shape more open, connected ways of working.

“I love being part of the birthday party,” she said. “It’s inspirational, and I’m excited to learn from others.”

PANEL INSIGHT AND PEOPLE CONNECTION

For van de Poel, two experiences at the event stood out: sharing the stage during a panel on breaking down silos, and engaging directly with supply chain peers.

“To be there on stage with colleagues and share knowledge — that was a highlight,” she said. “But so was simply meeting people. For me, it’s all about interacting and learning.”

Her comments echoed a wider theme throughout DELIVER Europe 2025 — that business transformation happens when organisations move from vertical thinking to cross-functional collaboration.

BREAK SILOS, UNLOCK POTENTIAL

“If you want to be successful as a company, it’s key as a leader to break down silos proactively,” van de Poel said.

She outlined clear benefits: improved efficiency, higher-quality decision-making, and not just business growth — but people development.

“Yes, it’s key to break them down,” she concluded. “That’s how you unlock growth.”

At a conference designed to spark collaboration across retail, logistics, and supply chain, her message couldn’t be more timely — or more necessary.
