EMIRATES SKYCARGO ON SPEED, SCALE, AND SMART MATCHMAKING
For Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation at Emirates SkyCargo, DELIVER Europe 2025 offered something different — speed, structure, and substance.
“Honestly, this is our first time at DELIVER,” he said. “We weren’t sure what to expect. But we just launched our new product, Emirates Express, and this is a great location. Just look around — the energy, the interactions — it’s amazing.”
CONNECTING THE WORLD, FASTER
Emirates is globally recognised for its vast passenger network, and now that scale is being channelled into cargo innovation.
“We fly to more than 147 destinations with over 260 aircraft,” Lister explained. “If we can connect 30 to 40 million passengers around the world, we can absolutely connect packages too.”
The strategy is simple: leverage passenger flights to move goods cross-border at express speed — adding agility and efficiency to the traditional logistics ecosystem.
“Speed is critical,” he added. “Using our passenger fleet makes that possible.”
MATCHMAKING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
Lister was particularly impressed with DELIVER’s approach to structured networking.
“The matchmaking here works really well. Honestly, I think it’s the secret ingredient,” he said. “It’s not a massive conference, but that’s the point — it’s like speed dating. You connect with the people who matter, quickly and efficiently.”
Unlike sprawling exhibitions, DELIVER’s curated format made it easier for Emirates SkyCargo to meet relevant retailers and decision-makers, explore real business problems, and begin conversations that matter.
“We’ve been to a lot of conferences,” he said. “But this one feels different — and we may be coming back next year.”
For a global operator entering the express logistics space, that kind of targeted engagement makes all the difference.
