MS DIRECT CEO ON ROBOTICS, CROSS-BORDER LOGISTICS & DELIVER’S BUSINESS IMPACT
Now in his fourth year attending DELIVER, Luca Graf, CEO of MS Direct, is clear about the value the event offers.
“It’s really the best event we attend,” Graf said. “It’s focused — we meet the right clients, get the right contacts, and the matchmaking and meetings are very effective.”
MS Direct is a logistics service provider specialising in cross-border European markets, offering seamless delivery and customs services from the UK to Switzerland and Norway. Graf explained that MS Direct takes care of the entire process — from transportation and last mile delivery to customs clearance, returns, and even fiscal representation.
“You don’t have to worry about it,” he said. “It’s a smooth process we organise for you.”
A FORMULA THAT CONVERTS
Graf praised the DELIVER format for more than just networking. The structure — which combines tailored buyer introductions with efficient scheduling — turns conversations into commercial outcomes.
“We get into contact, we find out if it makes sense to talk, and then we meet to discuss delivery services,” Graf explained. “Over the years, we’ve had many positive conversations — and real clients have come out of them.”
MEET SHIPSTER: MS DIRECT’S ROBOT MASCOT
In addition to showcasing their logistics services, MS Direct brought along a surprising team member: Shipster, a robot from their warehouse operations.
“Shipster is our little pet,” said Graf. “He talks, he watches, and he works in the warehouse.”
MS Direct operates modern fulfilment centres equipped with robotics for picking, packing, storing, and even surveillance. As labour markets tighten, Graf sees automation as a natural solution.
“We’re experimenting to see how robotics can help automate — especially with the staff shortages we’re all seeing.”
Bringing Shipster to the DELIVER floor wasn’t just a branding stunt — it sparked conversations, drew attention to the booth, and gave attendees a glimpse into the future of fulfilment.
